I think it&#039;s &#039;horses for courses&#039;. I find the people in Linkedin very helpful and more business orientated, whereas FB seems to be more light-hearted. 

Darren Rowse (problogger guy) broke out the sales figures of his recent book, after promoting/pushing it on different social networks. I get the impression that he networks v heavily and is clued in. 

From what i remember, FB was the most disappointing re: sales, esp for the size of his fan base (huge) whereas others channels, such as good ol email were much more effective.
